Zorlu Töre, the President of the Republic Assembly, welcomed the finalists of the Miss and Mister Northern Cyprus 2023.
Speaking first at the reception held in the Assembly’s Honor Hall, Bülent Günkut, the Founder President of Miss Northern Cyprus and Mister Northern Cyprus, expressed that they have been striving to represent the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) since the beginning of the competitions, participating in 90 different contests over 35 years.
Günkut stated their goal and desire to represent the recognized TRNC in all international organizations worldwide.
President of the Republic Assembly, Zorlu Töre, mentioned in his speech that efforts could be made to participate in various competitions under the umbrella of the Turkish States Organization after observer membership.
Referring to his acquaintance with Günkut since Larnaca, Töre expressed his appreciation for Günkut’s successful work and stated that his wish is for the TRNC, under his leadership, to be recognized as a prominent state in international organizations.
In the reception, Miss Northern Cyprus 2023 First Place went to Fatma Mani, Second Place to Naz Serap Işıksel, Third Place to Nisa Doğan, while Mister Northern Cyprus 2023 First Place was awarded to Kubilay İmren and Second Place to Suat Kazma.
