On the 51st anniversary of the July 20 Peace Operation, we experienced and celebrated the Day of Peace and Freedom with a content integrity.
We want to walk under the past under all circumstances, without looking at the future, realistic.
Together with the Motherland Türkiye, we see a solution that can live a solution based on two -state new policy. Nevertheless, although there is no agreement in the direction of a solution, we want to live with the Greek Cypriots on the island of Cyprus with the highest cooperation, with Greek Cypriots and good neighborly relations.
For this, the first thing to do is to abandon hostile emotions, especially the hostility to the new generation is not to be overcome.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s principle of “peace in the country, peace in the world” is indispensable for us and we follow this principle.
I invite our southern neighbors to realistic approaches and determinations with the right sense. Greek leadership is in vain if he tries to test our patience and resistance with non -solution.
On the 51st anniversary of the July 20 Peace Operation, we watched our people and our state at the gates, with care, concern and questioning.
Almost all of the activists were Greek youth who was born in 1974 or even 2000. These young people did not see war. It is a great danger for peace on the island to raise the new generation of Greek youth with Turkish hostility.
Greek youth, in schools, are almost poisoned away from human values.
Greek leadership says that he wants to talk about the measures that come to the negotiation table and talk about confidence -enhancing measures. The Greek Leadership, which should be done by the Greek leadership for the measures that increase confidence, is not to raise Greek youths with Turkish hostility in schools.
In our schools, we do not raise our children with feelings of hostility.
Foreigners also see and express that Turkish Cypriots are more peaceful than the Greeks.
I invite the Greek administration to implement a more peaceful curriculum by saving education from the influence of the church.
Do not forget, peace is assurance for all humanity.
